Our Story
Bulgarian Landscapes was founded in 2010 with a simple yet powerful vision: to create outdoor spaces that celebrate Bulgaria's rich natural heritage while embracing sustainable design principles. What began as a small design studio in Sofia has grown into a comprehensive landscape design practice serving clients throughout Bulgaria and beyond.
Our journey has been shaped by a deep appreciation for Bulgaria's diverse landscapes – from the Black Sea coast to the mountain ranges and the fertile plains in between. We've spent years studying traditional Bulgarian gardens and agricultural practices, combining these insights with contemporary design approaches to create spaces that are both timeless and forward-thinking.

With over 15 years of experience in landscape design, Maria established Bulgarian Landscapes after studying at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew. Her passion for Bulgaria's native flora drives our distinctive approach.
